About Solarà
Where it all began.
Solarà started with my mum, a single mother who raised me and my sibling alone. She always gave her all, even when she had little left for herself. When I asked for a hijab, she didn’t just buy me one. She stayed up late, stitching it by hand, making sure every detail was exactly the way I dreamed.
That first hijab wasn’t just fabric. It was her love, her sacrifice, and her protection woven into every thread.
I wore that hijab with passion. When I shared a simple video of a day at the beach, women began asking, ‘Where did you get that?’ What started as one hijab quickly turned into many - all sewn by me and my mum in our living room, fabric scattered everywhere. And just like the first, every piece was made to last, made with love, and filled with the same care and intention.
